Le Comptoir Rodin

Join our partner Terre Mieli Cieli and discover some amazing, award-winning wines from the Duero and Douro Valleys.

In case you don't know, it's the same valley. ;-) The river begins in Spain as the Duero and changes names when it crosses into Portugal. It meets the sea in Porto. Along the way, its microclimate produces some amazing wines and the grapes that produce Port.

I propose a blind tasting of at eight white, rosé and red wines from the two valleys. We will drink them in pairs, i.e. one from the Duero with one from the Douro each time, and make the tasting more fun by taking a vote which wine you like best. At the end we'll declare a winner or a tie.

The wine will be paired with plenty of good food prepared by the Comptoir Rodin in a sit-down dinner.

The tasting participation is limited to the first 30 people who sign up.

Cancellations are possible until noon on 24 March, 2025. Participants cancelling after this time, as well as no-shows, are charged the full cost of the event.
